It uses the latest technology to backup your entire hard disk – including the operating system, your applications, configured settings, and data files.

This solution is made to provide a fast and successful recovery. In an event of a hardware failure of your backup source machine, ActiveImage Protector™ can help you restore the system to a different physical machine or a virtual machine seamlessly.

What Can the Virtual Edition Do?

Do Image-based Backup for Virtual Environments

ActiveImage Protector™ backs up your entire machine, including the OS, settings, data files and applications, and access rights into a single image file. When disaster strikes, you can quickly restore for a fast and complete recovery.

Instantly Boot Backup Images Using HyperBoot™

Using real-time virtual conversion technology, HyperBoot bypasses the lengthy, resource intensive, and cumbersome physical to virtual conversion process, and boots the backup as a virtual machine in minimal time.

Bootability check by

BootCheck™ provides confidence that your backup images are bootable on local or remote Hyper-V host. BootCheck™ boots up a virtual machine directly from a backup image file for quick bootability check, minimizing the resource consumption and startup time.

Access Image Files
via iSCSI

ActiveImage Protector™ utilizes iSCSI to serve backup iSCSI targets to any local or remote iSCSI initiator for mounting backup images as local disks; not only providing a method to recover files and folders from a backup, but provides immediate booting of a backup image attached to a virtual machine.

Centralized Management
with ActiveVisor™

By collecting information from distributed agents over the network, ActiveVisor™ provides a visual representation of the overall system protection, sends email notifications of client backup status to yout teams, monitors storage space availability of devices, and administers deployment of agents, schedules, and tasks.

Save Storage Space with IDDC

It has Inline Data Deduplication Compression (IDDC) feature eliminates duplicate data while simultaneously compressing it, resulting in a significant reduction in backup storage requirements.

Agentless Backup Using HyperAgent

HyperAgent backs up virtual infrastructures without the need to install backup software on either the host or guest machine – minimizing system resource consumption. HyperRestore™ restores physical or virtual machine backups to dissimilar hypervisors. HyperStandby creates and maintains dormant virtual replicas of physical or virtual machines from ActiveImage Protector backup images to provide a switch-over option in the event of failure of the source machine.

Flexible Licensing

You can get four different types of licenses for your ActiveImage Protector Virtual Edition – from Virtual Environment License, HyperAgent Backup Option License, Cloud Environment License, and Single Virtual Machine License for Public Cloud.
