Sales Engineer – VISMIN

This role is ideal for a technically proficient individual in IT with a Business-oriented mindset who seeks to grow a career in cybersecurity distribution. Based in Cebu, the role supports the VisMin team with both partner development and technical pre-sales expertise. Reporting primarily to the VisMin Channel Sales Manager with dotted-line coordination to the Manila-based Technical team for product updates, implementation support, and escalations.The Account Executive – VISMIN shall handle the physical engagements with resellers & clients within the VISMIN area and will focus on penetrating areas with limited resources and visibility, especially in the Mindanao region. He/she works closely with the Sr. Channel Specialist – VISMIN, Sales Administrators, Solutions, and Service Teams.

Job Overview:

  • Assist the Visayas Account Executive in managing primarily the Cebu partner development by regularly visiting local partners and end-users within Cebu City and nearby provinces to conduct sales follow-ups, product briefings, and relationship building.
  • Support the Vismin team by conducting product presentations and technical demos (remote and on-site).
  • Assist in technically qualifying leads passed on from marketing or the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the VisMin channel team to design customer-centric solutions, prepare proposals, conduct technical presentations, and create Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Stay up-to-date with assigned product lines, including commercial and technical competitive positioning as needed.
  • Support the technical training of reseller partners under guidance from HQ.
  • Deliver implementation support and knowledge transfer as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Manila-based technical team for escalated technical concerns or solution design.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have both technical sales acumen and business understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, or a similar role
  • Previous work experience in IT infrastructure or IT security.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills in English, Tagalog, and Bisaya.
  • Must be currently based in Cebu City or nearby municipalities within Cebu province, with no plans of relocating.
  • Comfortable with traveling across Visayas and Mindanao to support client meetings, technical presentations, and partner events.
  • Familiarity with products such as enterprise-grade endpoint protection and other IT security brands is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
